Associate Principal Cello, Jacksonville Symphony - September, 2022 - July, 2026

• Assisted in cello section leadership in 80 concerts per season
• Stepped in as Principal as needed, including on short notice
• Extensive work with Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra as sectional coach and string rehearsal conductor

Director, Cello Choir, Douglas Anderson School of the Arts - September, 2024 - May, 2025

• Coached ensemble rehearsals for 16 intermediate and advanced high school students
• Selected level-appropriate repertoire to give all students an equally fulfilling experience
• Led dynamic technique classes to improve foundations of cello playing based upon individual students' needs

New Fromm Players Fellow, Tanglewood Music Center - Summer, 2022 & Summer, 2023

• Performed contemporary chamber music in close collaboration with composition Fellows and visiting composers, including in large-scale projects for the annual Festival of Contemporary Music
• Worked extensively with George Lewis, Reena Esmail, Nico Muhly, Joan Tower, and Carlos Simon
• Played in conducting classes with Stefan Asbury and Andris Nelsons
• Read chamber music by Boston University Tanglewood Institute composition students and provided insightful suggestions for idiomatic writing

Creator, Cello For Adult Beginners (Udemy Course) - June, 2020 - Present

• Wrote, filmed, and produced bilingual series of lectures to allow adult students to begin to learn cello and musical fundamentals while quarantined due to the COVID-19 pandemic
• Provide personalized feedback to students based upon video submissions
• Composed new method book and created extensive library of recordings to serve as a companion to video lectures
• Conducted a series of online masterclasses with cellists from around the world of all levels to go along with the release of the course
• Over 4,000 students enrolled

Fellow, New World Symphony - September, 2019 - June, 2022

• Performed as Principal Cello with conductors such as Michael Tilson Thomas, HK Gruber, Juanjo Mena, and Miguel Harth-Bedoya
• Worked on Fellow-led initiatives, including presenting a chamber music lecture recital exploring folk traditions and explaining complex topics such as modality to the audience in a digestible way
• Taught virtual lessons to advanced students throughout South America in English and Spanish through NWS’ partnership with Medellín, Colombia’s Iberacademy
• Winner of 2020 concerto competition, resulting in a performance of Bernd Alois Zimmermann’s Canto di Speranza under the baton of Matthias Pintscher
• Worked closely on music by HK Gruber and John Adams with their composers
• Wrote a new orchestration of Camille Saint-Saëns’ first Cello Concerto for chamber orchestra and conducted from the cello
• Helped plan side-by-side concerts with local high school students by adjudicating auditions and providing thoughtful commentary to all applicants as a member of the Community Engagement Committee
• Taught sectionals to cello students in local school orchestras

Teaching Artist, Virtual Inclusion Academy - Summer, 2020

• Planned inaugural season with fellow Teaching Artists and administrative team to prepare for a smooth student experience
• Taught highly advanced students in a fully-online, tuition-free setting with an academy-wide mission of inclusivity and supportive instruction
• Led studio class for multiple string instruments and fostered respectful student-to-student feedback

• Collaboratively planned curriculum with department Chair and fellow Teaching Assistants
• Taught up to 6 weekly lab classes, covering all levels of common practice tonal harmony
